Lovely Sand Dunes—comprising Claire French on vocals, Anthony Zelaya on guitar, and Gavin Ortiz on drums—has been making waves as the opening act for legendary artists such as Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, The Tubes, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Robby Krieger of The Doors. The band members hold Krieger in high regard, describing him as a true hero who lives up to their expectations.
Their shared love for classic rock and undeniable talent caught the attention of Michael Barbee, executive producer of “Unusual Times” and CEO of Dovetail Entertainment, who previously discovered and managed Grammy-winning band Greta Van Fleet. Under Barbee’s guidance, Lovely Sand Dunes recorded their EP at Plymouth Rock Recording Company in Michigan, setting the stage for a promising future in the world of rock music.
